Remedy Public Relations was started in San Diego by senior-level consultants who previously worked at some of the most reputable global PR agencies in the world.
The reality of the PR industry is that many brands are disappointed with their PR programs. Asking some of the questions that would eventually become Remedy’s signature PR Checkup unveiled a few things. While lack of results were the obvious reason, there were other factors at play.
Often the disappointment came from PR teams failing to set expectations, or presenting programs that looked great on paper, but were not based in reality. Clients were often enticed by senior leadership, only to be handed over to inexperienced junior staff.
Remedy PR's director-only model for partner interaction ensures streamlined communication and allows our media specialists to focus on what brands need (aka results). We don’t have a JV team – brands invest in outcomes, not training programs for new PR people. By maintaining a decentralized structure, we keep superfluous costs low and talent standards high, building teams based on expertise rather than location constraints.
