SIMPLE Mobile were pioneers in the “bring your own phone” wireless world. We worked with this MVNO pre and post-TracFone acquisition, assisting in traditional public relations efforts, along with marketing initiatives outside the norm.
Within weeks of working together we secured major exposure on CNET via an activation at CTIA, even though the brand did not have a booth or official presence at the event.
Future editorial was widespread, with features in the major consumer tech outlets, as well as the IYKYK tech tastemaker sites. Our PR efforts with SIMPLE Mobile didn’t stop there, as we assisted them with offline activations, including internal corporate communications efforts for the entire TracFone family of brands, and a guerilla activation that involved creating branded MetroCards distributed near key retailers throughout Manhattan.
